Curly hair tends to be drier than straight hair, and it needs more moisture, definition, and hold. By layering the right products, you’ll provide your curls with hydration, definition, and longevity. Each product serves a distinct purpose, and when used together correctly, they work in harmony to deliver flawless curls.

Our recommended order for the products in the Ultimate Bundle:

1. Cleanser

2. Conditioner

3. Hydrating Curl Creme

1. Start with clean, hydrated hair

Before styling, make sure your curls are clean and moisturised. Use our sulfate-free Curl Cleanser to gently cleanse your hair without stripping it of its natural oils.

Follow the Cleanser with our hydrating Curl Conditioner. Hydration is the foundation for defined curls, so don't skip this step.

Pro Tip: To create the most lush hydrated curls, try the simple "Squish to Condish" technique after applying the Conditioner. Your curls will thank you!

2. Apply our Hydrating Curl Creme

The first styling product in your routine should always be the Hydrating Curl Creme. This provides your hair with essential moisture and acts as a base for the rest of the products. It’s a light moisturising leave-in product that won't weigh down your curls.

How to Apply:

• Apply a small amount of Hydrating Creme on soaking wet hair.
• Use the praying hands method or a wide-tooth comb to ensure even distribution.
• After applying the Creme, gently scrunch with the Microfibre Towel that’s included in the Ultimate Bundle to enhance definition.

Our soft Curly Towel is essential to prevent frizz, as regular cotton towels tend to be harsh on curls and roughen up the cuticle which causes frizz.

Pro Tip: If your curls tend to lack definition, try a little finger coiling or brush styling to create defined, frizz-free curls.

3. Apply our Volumising Mousse and/or Enhancing Curl Gel

This is the fun part where you get to experiment! After the Hydrating Creme, apply the Volumising Mousse and/or the Enhancing Curl Gel. Both of these products work well by themselves, but for extra definition and bounce try layering the Mousse with the Gel.

To create more hold, we recommend applying the Mousse first, and then the Gel. If you prefer softer, voluminous curls, try applying the Gel first and finish with the Mousse.

How to Apply:

• On wet hair, take 2-3 pumps of Mousse or Gel and scrunch through your hair to enhance definition. You can use more or less product if your curls prefer this.
• Focus on areas where your curls tend to frizz or lose definition. You can apply a bit more gel when your hair is about 80% dry to combat frizz, and add extra hold and definition.

Pro Tip:If your hair feels slightly crispy when dry, all you have to do is simply "scrunch-out-the-crunch" for soft, defined curls.

4. Seal your curls with our Nourishing Hair Oil

To lock in moisture and prevent frizz, use our lightweight Nourishing Hair Oil to seal your curls. This step is crucial for retaining hydration and creating long lasting curls without frizz.

How to Apply:

• Once your hair is completely dry, use a small amount of the Nourishing Hair Oil and smooth it over your hair, focusing on areas that tend to go frizzy. Then gently scrunch the hair to define.

Pro Tip: Using a little Hair Oil works wonders when scrunching out the crunch to break up any gel cast you might have.
