9 Years of Only Curls - Celebrating Our Curl-iversary!

It’s hard to believe, but Only Curls turns 9 this year - and what a wild, curly ride it’s been! As we look back on nearly a decade of curl care, community, and growth, one thing is clear: we couldn’t have done it without you - our amazing curly-haired community. 

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or recently joined the curl community, thank you for being part of this story. Let’s take a little stroll down memory lane…

• 2016 - It all began with a little grey towel, packed from our founders’ flat. Designed to speed up drying time while absorbing just the right amount of moisture, it helped create soft, defined, frizz-free curls - and marked the start of our journey.
• 2017 - Our curly towels continued to fly off the shelves, while behind the scenes, our first curl-friendly products went into development.
• 2018 - We launched the first complete curly hair routine with four core products: the All Curl Cleanser, All Curl Conditioner, Hydrating Curl Creme, and Enhancing Gel.
  

This branding will always have a space in our hearts 💗 Who’s been here since the OG branding?

• 2019 - The world started to see the potential of Only Curls, with the press catching on to the curl movement. We moved into our first warehouse and launched our now-iconic scrunchies.
• 2020 - Lockdown hit, but we kept going stronger than ever.
• 2021 - We started building our amazing team of curlies, with customer service and community becoming the core of our business. Supporting our customers with care, kindness and curl expertise is part of our mission.

• 2022 - The Volumising Mousse launched (and kept selling out!) - curlies loved it for its lightweight, non-crunchy hold that adds bounce without weighing curls down.
• 2023 - We focused on helping the next generation of curlies embrace their texture with our Little Curls range. 
• 2024 - A major moment of recognition as Only Curls was featured on the front page of The Times 100, named as one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses.

• 2025 - A surreal moment... Only Curls hit the shelves at BOOTS! Also our little Sh-office is almost ready, and we’re dreaming big.
  

• 2026 -  It’s been a whirlwind of almost a decade of curls, care and community. With the big 1-0 almost here, there’s so much more to come in our tenth year - and we cannot wait to celebrate it with you.

Every milestone, every sell-out product, every curl transformation - it all started with you. Your trust, reviews, selfies, and support helped grow Only Curls from a tiny start-up to a national brand stocked in major retailers and loved by curlies all over the UK (and beyond!). Thank YOU!
